TRI SQUAD COACHING PROGRAMME

NEW for January 2020!

Are you looking to get stronger and sharper for a triathlon in 2020? We have a fantastic opportunity for 10 Tri Energy Members to join our squad coaching programme. Train towards your goals with a high-quality plan, a group of like-minded peers, and access to expert coaching at an affordable price.

What is it? The Squad Training Programme, limited to just 10 Tri Energy members, is an excellent training plan for winter training. You will be emailed your plan weekly and receive feedback and regular contact from Head Coach Sam. As well as the actual coaching plan you will also receive:

  • Free access to our Run Group Sessions on Monday evening, 6:30pm
  • Free access to our weekly strength and conditioning sessions on Tuesday evening, 6:30pm
  • Initial consultation with Head Coach Sam
  • Weekly email from Head Coach Sam with feedback and support
  • Monthly meet up for run, Q&A and goal setting with Sam and the Squad
  • A like minded community focussed on the same goal
  • Achievable and progressive session plans at an affordable price

When does it start?  The squad coaching programme will start in January and will last for 3 months, through the whole of January, February and March.

How much does it cost?  The squad coaching programme will cost £30 per person per month.  This includes everything mentioned above, including the run and strength and conditioning classes.

Who is it suitable for? The squad coaching programme is most suited to anyone wanting to do a sprint or olympic triathlon in 2020. It will focus on building base and strength through the winter.  You do not need to be a specific speed/pace but the programme is suitable to people who are already confident/able to swim/bike/run as opposed to complete beginners.

RUN SQUAD COACHING PROGRAMME

Are you looking to build up to a Half Marathon distance, or can you already run the distance but want to target getting a Personal Best? Then we have a fantastic opportunity for 10 Tri Energy Members to join our run squad coaching programme. This will be led by our fantastic running coach Trina (LiRF & CiRF certified), who will support, challenge and motivate her squad to smash a Spring Half Marathon, enabling you to train towards your goals with a high-quality plan, a group of like-minded peers, and access to expert coaching at an affordable price.  As a squad, we will be targeting the Shakespeare Half Marathon on 26th April, but you are welcome to enter a different half marathon around Spring time if this date doesn’t suit.

What is it? The Run Squad Training Programme, limited to just 10 Tri Energy members, is an excellent opportunity to build up to a half marathon or to target a half marathon PB. You will be emailed your squad plan weekly and receive feedback and regular contact from our Coach in Run Fitness, Trina. As well as the actual coaching plan you will also receive:

  • Additional guidance and advice on all things running throughout the whole 16 weeks of coaching
  • 1 x video analysis and technical assessment on your running form
  • Free long distance, progressive weekend runs with Coach and the squad
  • Initial consultation with Coach in Run Fitness, Trina
  • Weekly email from Coach Trina with feedback and support
  • Additional monthly meet up for run, Q&A and goal setting with Trina and the Squad
  • A like minded community focussed on the same goal
  • Achievable and progressive session plans at an affordable price

When does it start?  The run squad coaching programme will start on 6th January and will last for 16 weeks, taking you up to the squad’s targeted half marathon at the Shakespeare Half on 26th April 2020.

How much does it cost?  The run squad coaching programme will cost £30 per person per month from January through to April.

Who is it suitable for? The run squad coaching programme is most suited to anyone wanting to do a spring half marathon. Whether it’s your first half marathon or you’re aiming for a half marathon PB, the plan will get you there! As a squad we will be targeting the Shakespeare Half on the 26th April, but you’re welcome to choose a different event that the plan can be tailored for.

Strength and Conditioning

NEW for January 2020.

Join us every Tuesday evening, 6:30-7:30pm at Stourport Sports Club for an hours strength and conditioning class.

These sessions are carefully designed specifically for runners and triathletes to build power and strength.

  • Yoga Style Warm Up
  • Followed by a core stability and conditioning workout
  • Finishing with a dynamic, circuit style workout to build strength
  • Cool Down

£4.00 per person per night or £45 for a block booking of all 13 weeks January – March. Block booking reservations to be made here.
