Hi I’m Jamie, founder of success cycling and coach with Tri Energy. I started road cycling at the age of 11 (1992) and 3 years later was picked up to represent English Schools Cycling at an International Event in Holland. The following year (1996) I went on to win 1st place at the West Midlands Under 16 Circuit Race Championship, 1st place at the English Schools Cycling National Time Trial and represented English Schools Cycling for the second year running at a week-long event in Holland.
I also won 1st place at the English Schools National Best All Rounder Competition and became the Junior Sports Personality of the Year for the Wyre Forest District.
I moved to Europe to further my career in 1998 and was soon spotted and selected to represent Great Britain for a World Cup Race in Holland where I rode alongside the 2012 Tour de France Champion Sir Bradley Wiggins. I went on to win many more races and excelled as I raced in France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Austria for Great Britain. I raced for Great Britain in the Junior World Road Race Championships in Verona, Italy and gained my elite racing licence as a senior.
I launched Success Cycling for training enthusiasts and athletes of all levels who want to improve their efficiency, strengthen their technique, improve their times and overall; ride faster! The Tri Energy squad sessions with me will be sure to get the most out of you and help you unlock your bike potential! I am also an enthusiastic coach with Tri Energy Kids where my son comes along with me, and I enjoy passing on all of my knowledge, tips and experiences in a fun and enjoyable way.
